Purpose tells you where you are going, pursuit is taking steps toward where you are going and persistence keeps you going until you get there. But divine presence is the seal on all your efforts.
I have planted, Apollo watered; but God gave the increase. - I Corinthians 3: 6
Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it; except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. It is vain for you to rise up early to sit up late… - Psalm 127:1 - 2
Beloved, one thing you need in building your dreamland is to possess God’s divine presence. It takes God to succeed.
…For by strength shall no man prevail - I Samuel 2:9
Except the Lord builds the house, your labour is just in vain. Many are struggling and sweating in their pursuit but it is God’s hand on a man that makes stars in the kingdom.
Divine presence is the ultimate in your search for success. His presence is your guarantee for accomplishment. Moses knew this fact and he said in Exodus chapter 33 verse 15
…. If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence.
Moses became an outstanding success on the earth because God granted his request in Exodus chapter 33: 14
And He said, my Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.
This is what you need today. I have seen many workaholics who are failures, because of this missing key. They don’t know how to carry His presence, so they never succeed. Even Jesus succeeded because
… For God was with Him - Acts 10: 38
Despite that He was anointed; He still needed the literal presence of God to be able to command such outstanding miracles.
One of the ways to secure God’s presence is to do the will of God. Considering Hebrew chapter 10 verse 36
For ye have need of patience, that after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise
What is the will of God? First Thessalonians chapter 5 verse 18 has this to say
In everything give thanks: for this is the WILL of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
Therefore, the will of God is to give Him thanks. Until the will of God is done, you cannot obtain the promise. So, every pursuit in life must culminate in thanksgiving for it to end in success.
“It is your depth of gratitude that determines your altitude.
Just appreciate God for where you are today. If there were no sales yesterday in your business, thank God there was also no armed robbery attack. No sales today? Thank God there was no fire outbreak in your shop. Beloved, this is the only way to guarantee good sales tomorrow. You don’t see greatness until you are grateful. Do you want to see the hand of God in your endeavours? Then lift up your hands to Him in thanksgiving from the depth of your heart for all things, and you will go places.
Stop complaining and murmuring! I have never seen anybody who made it through complaints and murmurings. No one has ever made any mark with worries and anxieties. Therefore, rejoice in the Lord through thanksgiving. This is one of the surest ways to possess His presence.
Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat, the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls; yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The Lord God is my strength, and He will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and He will make me to walk upon mine high places. - Habakkuk 3: 17 - 19
Friends! May I let you know that God’s presence is what gives you unusual favour. People can’t behold you and resist you. Divine presence is your guarantee for outstanding success! This is your possession key to building your dreamland! No limitations can stand God’s divine presence.
