WHY YOU WERE CREATED (Part 1)

The Thought Exposed
One of the greatest discoveries of my life is my God-given purpose. My life began to change the moment I started understanding the reason God created me. This is one of the greatest problems in the world today. It is very unfortunate that many people do not know that there is a reason for their creation. Yes! Too many people never discover God’s purpose for creating them.
Oh! Many struggle everyday just to find fulfilment and meaning for their lives. They even look everywhere but to God for the meaning of their existence. As a result of not knowing the reason for their existence, their lives are unfulfilled and their potentials are wasted. This is the essence of this issue. It is designed to give you an understanding of your purpose in life and destiny. By the help of God, I will be exposing to you through this and other coming issues, three reasons you were created. I mean three reasons God gave you life. You are not here by accident. Your birth is on purpose. And not until you discover this, can you become a super success in life. The first chapter of Genesis exposes God’s intention for creating you.
“Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping things that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” - Genesis 1:26 - 28.
In the light of the above scriptures, there are three reasons God made man. These reasons are virtually the purpose given to man by God. I like therefore, to summarize these three basic reasons as follows:
1.To have dominion
2.To be fruitful and multiply
3.To fill the earth and subdue it
We will be discussing these three reasons in details in each nugget of this issue. Stay tight.
TO HAVE DOMINION
Understanding God’s purpose for creating you is essential for the effective release of your potential. And one of such purpose is for you to dominate the earth. A consciousness of this fact will help you in releasing your potential. God made man in His own image. No matter how you look, you are created in the very image and likeness of God. You are unique as you are. Don’t try to look like somebody else. Yes! God doesn’t want you to look like someone else. He wants you to look like yourself. As a matter of fact, everything you are-your height, shape, race, gifts, and talents is related to your purpose. Therefore, one of the reasons God created you as you are is to have dominion.
“…Let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping things that creeps on the earth.” - Genesis 1:26
After God created man in His own image and likeness, He said, “Let them have dominion” You are therefore created to dominate the entire earth. But, it is unfortunate that we have allowed ourselves to be so dominated by the very things we were told to dominate. It is because you have lost touch with your source. This is why it is important that you have an understanding of your purpose. The truth is every problem that we are experiencing is the result of not fulfilling our purpose to dominate the earth. Yes! When the very things we were supposed to dominate dominate us, all the earth goes off course. As such, there will be problem all around us. Hear me and hear me well, the very moment you embrace the fact that you are created to dominate the earth, you begin to gain control over the things of life.
When God said, “dominate the earth”, He means rule, prevail, command and master the earth. What do you want to do in life? You are naturally supposed to be a master of it. So, never you underestimate your abilities. The power and the ability to do whatever you are purposed to do is already in you.
Oh! You must understand also that “Let them have dominion” is a statement of fact. It wasn’t a suggestion from God. It was a command given by God. He knows you have the potential to dominate the earth, hence, He asked you to. Friends! You get to embrace this truth from heaven.
However, there is something you must know. God did not ask you to dominate people. He said, “over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping things that creeps on the earth.” He did not say people. So, it is totally out of place for you to try to dominate your fellows. You got to understand this. It is absolutely against what God said and it is not right. Yes! It is a sin that you need to repent of, if you have in any way dominated others. You are designed to dominate the earth and not people. May God give you understanding.
Thought lessons:
God doesn’t want you to look like someone else. He wants you to look like yourself.
The moment you embrace that you are created to dominate the earth, you begin to gain control over the things of life.
The power and the ability to do whatever you are purposed to do is already in you.
