VACUUM LAW OF PROSPERITY - JENNY

There is a Natural Law called the “Vacuum Law of Prosperity”, which states that nature abhors a vacuum. In order to have something better, we have to create a space for it! This month’s motivational story is about Jenny, who let go of her precious her pearl necklace to have a genuine treasure.

Jenny is a five year old girl. One day she went out shopping with her mother and as she was waiting for her mother she saw a circle of glistening white pearls in a pink foil box. She immediately begged, “Oh, please mommy, can I have them? Can I have them?” The mother checked the price tag and told Jenny that the pearls are not genuine and it cost almost two dollars. The mother said, “If you really want them, you can save enough money to buy them for yourself. Your birthday is only a week away and you might get some money from Grandma.” As soon as Jenny got home she checked the amount of money she has in her kitty and it was not sufficient. After dinner she went out to the neighbors to do some odd jobs to earn some money for the pearl necklace. On her birthday Grandma gave her a dollar bill and at last she had enough money to buy the necklace. She loved the necklace and would put it on everyday, wherever she goes.

Jenny’s father liked to tell bedtime stories to her and one night after he finished the story, he asked Jenny, “Do you love me?” “Oh, yes Daddy, you know I love you.” “Then give me your pearls.” “Oh, Daddy, not my pearls, but you can have Princess, the white horse, from my collection. The one with the pink tail, remember daddy? The one you gave me. She is my favorite.” “It’s okay, honey”, said the father.

About a week later after reading Jenny some bedtime stories the daddy again asked for her pearl necklace. Jenny again replied, “Oh, daddy, not my pearls, but you can have my baby doll and you can have the yellow blanket that matches her sleeper.” The daddy replied, “It’s okay, sleep well.”

A few nights later when Daddy came in, Jenny was sitting in her room, with her chin trembling and one silent tear ran down her cheek. She didn’t say anything but lifted her little hand up to her daddy, and when she opened it, there was her pearl necklace. With a little quiver, she said, “Here, Daddy, it’s for you.” With tears in his eyes the daddy reached out with one hand to take the dime store necklace and with the other hand, he reached into his pocket and pulled out a blue velvet case with a strand of genuine pearls and gave them to Jenny. He had them all the time and he was just waiting for her to give up the dime store stuff so he could give her a genuine treasure.

This is indeed a touching story of love and sacrifice. Friends! In order to get better things in life you have to let go of what you treasure at the moment. Oh! You need to give up and sacrifice certain things that you value, such as time, money, and leisure before you can have the real treasure in life. Yes!
Life is an echo! You get what you send! Yes! What you send out, you get back. What you give, you get. Give a little and you get a little back! Give a lot and you get a lot back. Give money, not mockery! Give encouragement, not criticism. Give a compliment, not a complaint. Give a smile, not a scowl! Therefore, let your habit be to make a giving and not just a living. Remember, blessed is the hand that gives than the one that receives.

Yes! It is practically up to you! Do not forget! Your future is not a function of your current circumstances! See you at the pick of your destiny. Your case will not be different and your story is next in line in the BOOK - THEY HAVE GRACED THE PAGES OF HISTORY.

Thank you for taking out time to read through this month's Motivational Stories. Your life is just about to begin. So see you next month.
